Nadya Dorofeeva is a Ukrainian pop singer from the duet Vremya i Steklo (Russian for Time and Glass). She became famous after winning a series of Ukrainian and European vocal competitions. In 2016, she began her career as a fashion designer founding her own brand named Dodo.

Nadiya was born on the 21st of April 1990, in a military family. Nadya’s mom has always dreamed of becoming an artist, but her parents insisted on her becoming a dentist, so she passed her love to the stage and performances to her daughter.
From the early childhood, Nadya has been dancing, attending musical school, and such a busy schedule has affected her studies. Nadya was trying her best to study well. She was often performing at school events, and the teachers loved and encouraged her. However, as Nadya herself admitted, she did not remember anything from the lessons.

Nadya Dorofeeva Career
The starting point in Nadya Dorofeyeva’s career was the Golden Voice of Russia-2005 contest which took place in Moscow. The producer of the girl band M.Ch.S. became interested in this talented little girl and offered Nadya to become a new vocalist in his band, promising a decent fee. The girl accepted the offer, and her independent life began.
It was a difficult period for her, as Nadya was studying at the correspondence department of the vocal faculty of the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts at the same time. When in 2007, shortly after the release of the studio album of the band, the girl decided to leave M.Ch.S. and return to Kiev, where she was immediately given a proposition to participate in the American Chance project, a producer of which was Igor Kondratyuk, a famous Ukrainian media person. But the project did not work out, and Nadia returned to Moscow.
When Nadya returned back to Kiev, she began her solo career under the stage name Marquis. In 2010, she was noticed by a producer Potap (Alexey Potapenko) who was looking for a female singer to complete the duet with vocalist Alexey Zavgorodniy (stage name Positive) that he had been working with for 10 years. The project received the name Vremya i Steklo.
The first clip of the newly created group quickly gained popularity on YouTube. Then came the successful release of the eponymous debut album called Vremya i Steklo, and many concerts in Ukraine and Russia.
At the beginning of 2015, a music duet went through a creative crisis because of some disputes, but then the song “505” became a real hit, taking over all radio broadcasts and TV channels and giving the band a new start.
Since childhood, Nadya has always been interested in creating outfits. So, in 2016, she founded her own brand called Dodo and opened a showroom in Kiev where one can buy clothes designed by Nadya.
In 2017, she became the coach of the vocal talent show on the 1+1 TV channel called The Voice. Children. Then she took part in the Ukrainian version of Dancing with the Stars. Her pair was a famous Ukrainian dancer Yevgeny Kot. They took the second place.
In 2018, she became the star trainer in the fourth season of the Liga Smekha (League of Laugh) project on 1+1.
In 2018, Nadya voiced the main character of the Ukrainian cartoon The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila.
In the summer of 2018, Dorofeeva debuted in the movie Me, You, He, She where she played one of the main characters.
