In these only tallest buildings with continuous occupiable spaces are listed. Thus non-building structures and towers are not listed. There are around 135 buildings which reached a height of 300 meters as of 2016.

Taipei 101 got opened in the year 2004. It is a landmark supertall skyscraper in District of Xinyi, Taipei, Taiwan. The height of the building to the roof is 508 meters, and it has the fastest elevators. The elevators travel at a speed of 60.6 km/hour transporting passengers from 5th to 89th floor in 37 seconds.
7. CTF Finance Centre:
CTF Finance Centre with 111 floors it heights 530 meters. It was opened in the year 2016 and is located at southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. It contains 95 elevators among which 2 are world’s fastest elevators which can travel 1200 m in a minute.

One World Trade Center is the main building of the modified/rebuilt World Trade Center complex. The height of the building is 546 meters and is located in Lower Manhattan, New York City. It is the top of tallest buildings in the western hemisphere and the 6th tallest in the world.

Lotte World Tower is a 554 meter, 123-floor supertall skyscraper opened on March 17, 2016. It is located in Seoul, South Korea. It is the tallest buildings in the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and 5th tallest in the world.
4. Ping An Finance Centre:
The construction started in the year 2010 at Guangdong province of China. The height of the building is 555 meters. It is an 115-storey mega tall skyscraper. The construction got completed in the year 2016. It contains 33 double deck elevators with a destination controlled speed.
3. Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower:
Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower is a government owned Mega tall complex located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The height of the building is 601 meters. The construction started in the year of 2004 and built in 2011. It has a four-faced clock which is visible from 25 km’s away.

With 128 floors, The Shanghai Tower is built at a height of 632 meters and remains the world’s second among the top 10 tallest buildings. It is a mega tall skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai. It has the world’s fastest elevator with a speed of 20.5 m/s. Construction year began in the year 2008 and was got completed in 2015.

Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest building with 163 floors. The height of the building is 838 meters. The construction started in the year 2004 and got completed in 2009. The building is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The building was opened in the year 4 January 2010.
